IXONE SÁDABA

Ixone Sádaba expone sus trabajos más recientes en Espacio Marzana de Bilbao. No se veían trabajos de la artista bilbaína desde su última exposición, por estas fechas en 2004 y en este mismo lugar.

IXONE SÁDABA (Bilbao, 1977) presenta su obra, por segunda vez, en la galería bilbaína. Para la ocasión la artista ha querido prologar su trabajo con el siguiente texto de Peter Handke:

“The light that illuminates us signifies nothing. Neither do the clothes we wear signify anything. They indicate nothing, they are not unusual in any way, they signify nothing. They signify no other time to you, no other climate, no other season, no other degree of latitude, no other reason to wear them. They have no function. Nor do our gestures have a function, that is, to signify something to you. This is not the world as a stage.”

Ixone Sádaba presenta en el Espacio Marzana un trabajo en el que -de una forma muy personal- trata el mundo de las apariencias, refiriéndose tanto a la propia intimidad (mentiras) como al medio fotográfico (representación).
